A rare bird that is hardly ever reported to have served with the Armenian Air Force, is this AN-12BP Cub (c.n.5343209) EK-11660. Seen here at Erebuni under heavy maintenace, she was suffured severe damage and subsequently written off  in an accident at Point Noire, Congo DR in 2008, whilst in operation with Aero-Service.

Also seen here at Erebuni, is one of the Air Force's Two IL-76MD Candid's serieled 86852 (c.n.0003424719). Two Frogfoots can be seen parked behind.

At least 4 L-39C Albatross trainers's are in service with the 60th UAE. They can also be armed if needed.

Upwards of 16 Mi-2 Hoplite's are reported to have been used by the Air Force, mostly with the 15th SAP at Erebuni. "Yellow" 34 is one of two based at Arzni for training helicopter crews.

The rarities continue, this time they are a pair of MiG-23's taking part in a Armenian fly past some years ago. Although most likely Russian Aircraft based at Yerevan, there have been consistant rumours of some having been supplied to Armenia. If they were, then these are them!

Another rare Bird, is this MiG-25PD Foxbat stored at Yerevan and still carrying the red star. It does in fact belong to the Armenian Air Force. though has proberly never been flown by them!

UAE Jiont Headquater's Flight AW139

AW139's are now becoming a more frequent sight within the Gulf. This examble serialed UAE-354 (c.n.31085) is assigned to the Abu Dhabi based Jiont Headquater's Flight.

Equatorial Guinea

An-32B Cline 3C-4GE (c.n.3603) "Col. Cosme Ondo Nchama" is one of two that were operated by the Goverment Flight of the National Guard at Malabo - Macias Island. Her sistership 3C-5GE (c.n.1609) was written off on the 16th April 2008. She was formally operated in Light Grey scheme.

Another Russian Transport that is in service with the Goverment Flight is this IL-76TD Candid (c.n.73479386) 3C-LGF. She is seen here in China during 2008, and is used for Long haul flights.

The National Guards Training Flight is also based at Malabo, and is equipped with two ex Ukrainian L-39C Albatrosses. These can be armed as seen by the Hardpoint on serial 025(c.n.533230). Also note the Leopard below the cockpit, and the roundels seemed to have been "patched on"

Mi-24P Hind-F  "020" is one of two supplied to the National Guard's Helicopter Flight from Ukrainian stock's. One of which is usually detached to Bata.

At the cutting edge of the National Guard's offensive capabilitie's are four ex Ukrainian SU-25UB Frogfoot-B's of the Fighter Flight, based at Malabo.

Two Enstrom 480B's are used on Coastal Patrol duties with the Helicopter flight. As you can see, the National Guard relies heavilly on contracted East European's to service and operate their fleet. 017 (c.n.5102 )  is seen on the deck of one the Navel Patrol Craft.

The Sudanese Police Air Wing is headquartered in Khartoum, and has operated a diverse range of aircraft since its foundation. Included in that range were a pair of King Air C90's. ST-AGZ (c.n.LJ726) is seen here during 1991, after disposal. The police titles carried on the opposite side of the fuselage, are in Arabic.

Southern Sudan Peoples Air Force Mi-171!!!!!!

I dont usually like posting images this small, but the rarity and detail of this recently created Air Arms Mi-171 is the best ive seeen so far. Seen At Juba, i think the serial may be SPAF-102 or 03???

Macedonian "Hawk's" Mi-171 and Mi17-V5

The Macedonian Ministry of Internal Affairs Policija na Republika Makedonija, is operating two Mi-171's and two Mi-17V-5's in its Helikopterska Edinica “Jastrebi” out of Petrovec-Skopje. The two Mi-171's (710 and 711) are the two Iraqi machines that were stored in Poland,  Meanwhile, the two Mi-17-V5's (712 and 714)  are painted in a more sombre looking olive green scheme.

Aswell as the previously shown Gulfstream, Tanzania also use's the older F.28-3000 Fellowship on Govermental and VIP work. 5H-CCM (c.n.11137) is seen here at Woensdrecht last year, proberly for maintenance.

From top to Bottom:-

1. Three Aermacchi MB.326K's sit in that hanger again at Kisangani. Visable are FG-478 and FG-479.

2. Another view of MB.326K FG-479. As a bonus, in this photo, you can also see the tail section of a SF.260MZ Warrior, a couple of Antonov's, a surviving C-130H, and one of the two MiG-23UB's!

3. A flypast by the Air Force over the capital last year, included this Light Grey painted An.26 Curl in full Air Force colours. I just cant discern the serial, so if anyone knows?

4. Also included in that flypast, were these two wonderfully camouflaged Mi-8T Hip-C's. Again, the serials are not visable, so if anyone knows?

5. Photographed a few years ago at Kisangani was this Mi-35 Hind-E serieled 9T-HM2.

6. And finally, that second ex Libyan MiG-23UB Flogger-C serieled FG-2000, and carrying the old Libyan serial of 7920 on its nose!

Force Aérienne de la Cote d’Ivoire MiG-23MLD's!!

Pictured above, are the two ex Bulgarian MiG-23MLD(E) Flogger-K's that were being supplied to the Force Aérienne de la Cote d’Ivoire after the french intervention in 2004, before being impounded at Lome, in Togo.. The one at the rear carries the serial of TU-VCH, and since that TU-VCG is allocated to a Alpha Jet and i can find no record for TU-VCI, im presuming the other could be serialed as that?

The other photo has been seen before, but i dont think youve seen it in high-res. Just wish the ugly black SAAF sign was not in the top corner lol. But hey, its still a super shot!

SA.342M Gazelle's for Iraq

The rapidly expanding Iraqi Air Force took delivery of the 6 former ALAT SA.342M Gazelle's last year, and can be seen here being loaded on to a IL-76TD. They were delivered to a new Squadron (88) based at Taji in the north of the country.
